The Gas Information Exchange for the Western Pacific (GASEX) TGASEX is the Western Pacific’s official platform for the gas industry and comprises 15-member economies including Australia, Brunei Darussalam, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, and Vietnam. GASEX objectives are to contribute to the sound progress and development of the gas industry in each country within the West Pacific area, by advancing fraternal relationship and mutual understanding among the members through exchange of information relating to technical, economic and operational aspects of the gas industry. GASEX is meant to be a platform where the latest information relating to technical, economical and operational aspects of the gas industry can be exchanged and where problems and challenges, which are unique to the countries of the Western Pacific Area, in relation to the gas industry can be introduced. The Conference of the Electric Power Supply Industry (CEPSI) CEPSI is the one the biggest events focusing on power/electricity. This bi-annual conference and exhibition is instrumental in the development of the electricity industry in the region. Member countries are appointed to host the conference on a rotational basis.
CEPSI is under the patronage of the Association of the Electricity Supply Industry of East Asia and the Western Pacific (AESIEAP) – a regional non-government organization founded in 1975, whose main objectives include facilitating exchange of expertise between electric power companies of various countries and territories in the region; promoting co-operation among member organizations; and seeking and providing solutions to problems that the industry is facing in this area of the world.
GASTECH
Gastech is the largest international conference and exhibition for the LNG, LPG and natural gas industries in 2009; where business leaders from across the gas supply chain gather to discuss the latest trends and developments affecting the commercial and technical gas worlds. Now on its 24th edition, Gastech continues to grow through leaps and bounds, attracting nearly 12,000 participants from 50 countries.
